This ongoing project started during what was arguably the adolescent era of social media. By literally reaching out to bands via their MySpace page – yes, it actually worked - an interview and photography session takes place the very moment they arrive to whatever venue they're playing at on any given day or night in Los Angeles. From the Troubadour, to The Roxy, to The Viper Room, The Echo, The Henry Fonda Theatre, The Wiltern - and the myriad other venues in between and throughout Los Angeles, the following are a sampling of the 80+ bands who've shared their stories from life on the road. Big, huge, ginormous respect to anybody who goes on tour for a living. You literally rock.
In an era when musicians aren't making money selling their music, they find a way to establish a connection with their audience the way it's always been done; live. Adapt to change, change to adapt.
